The results are in
- 164 Lincoln County total residents participated in the polling process during January & February 2008. Of the 164, 95 people currently recycle and 69 people do not.
- Of the 69 who do not currently recycle, 60 or 87% of them say they are interested in recycling but only if there's a local drop station. No one said that they were Simply Not Interested.
- Of the 164 who participated, a whopping 157 (or 95.7%) said they will support a local drop station by donating 100% of their recyclables. Only 2 said they would not and 5 did not answer the question.
- Of the 164 who participated, 94 persons said they would make a one-time contribution to support the effort which totaled to a $2521 contribution. 23 said they would not support it financially and 47 did not answer the question.
- Of the 164 who participated, 70 persons said they will financially support an ongoing program either on a monthly or annual basis totaling to an annual contribution of $5690. 24 said they would not support it financially on an ongoing basis and 70 did not answer the question.
